For generations, it witnessed court proceedings, elections, celebrations, and countless everyday moments that helped shape the story of our hometown.

Though the courthouse is no longer standing, its legacy lives on.

Court Summons was created to honor one of Scottsville's most recognizable lost landmarks and the generations who passed through its doors. More than a candle, it serves as a tribute to the places that helped define our community and a reminder that while buildings may disappear, their stories endure.

The Story Behind the Name

Named after the historic Allen County Courthouse that once stood in the center of Scottsville's Public Square, Court Summons™ honors a landmark that helped shape our community for generations. Although the courthouse was eventually replaced and the center of the square is now a four-way intersection, its story remains an important chapter in Scottsville's history. This candle was created to help preserve that story—one flame at a time.

• Trim the wick to ¼ inch before each burn.
• Discontinue use when approximately ½ inch of wax remains.
